Wellness Gadgets

As we close out 2023 I wanted to share some wellness gadgets that I have enjoyed over the years and some that are relatively new. The majority of these I bought at the height of the pandemic when there was not a lot to do.

First up is the The Boost LED face mask by The Light Salon. I used this religiously during eh pandemic and found that it really helped clear my skin up. They offer 10% off if you sign up for their newsletter. I have had mine going on 3 years therefore it is a slightly older version but it has held up great. I like that it come with plug adapters for all over the world. It is also easy to travel with!

Another of my wellness gadgets bought during lockdown: The Infrared Sauna Blanket by Higherdose. I love this sauna blanket. I usually do it for about 30 minutes. It gets quite hot towards the end so I usually try and put something on the TV that takes my attention away from it. Again mine is the older version without the zip and it is still going strong. They also always have discount codes so look for one before you buy. I lay a blanket in mine but I am tempted to get this insert to make it easier.

This MitoPro red light I interchange with the red light mask. This is great for using on large parts of your body. You can easily hang it on the back of a door or buy the stand to go with it. They also have lost of different panel size options and as well as series of panels.

This one is defiantly is probably the most trendy one on the list. I have seen a lot of talk about it over the past year or so. It is the Ice Bath! I despise taking cold showers but really wanted an ice bath. The trouble was they were $1000s and I didn’t want to spend that much. I decided to buy one of the cheaper baths to start (this one) and just add ice to it when I wanted to use it. A few times of adding ice and you can easily spend what you spent on the bath.

The pricy part of the chiller. I was looking at them but whenever I read the small print I realized the device wouldn’t cool that much unless you bought the more expensive pro version (here). I have a friend who made his own and I went that route. He told me the chiller and the pump to buy on Amazon. He had extra hoses to connect everything. This turned out nearly to be half price of the basic chiller models I was seeing online. This the the chillers I bought and this is the pump.

I also counldn’t forget a thermometer!

Last on the list is the Higherdose Infrared PEMF Go-Mat. This was a slight impulse buy and one I am still deciding on. I did get it heavily discounted from CurrentBody and got cash back which was nice. I’ll keep you posted on this one!
