About two months before Christmas when it started to get cold here in Georgia I decided that I wanted to invest in a nice everyday coat but one that could also be dressed up a little. The first type of coat to come to mind was a Duffle Coat (Paddington Bear Style). They are also sometimes known as Toggle Coats. I love the Walrus teeth (toggles), the MASSIVE hood and the thick wool it is made out of. This coat really keeps you warm! I managed to snag mine while on sale so got it for a great deal! You may notice a little furry friend in some of the pictures. Her name is Minnie and my husband and I recently adopted her. She came from a puppy mill so is a bit shy but is very sweet! Since I didn’t really have many pictures of her (yet) I thought it would be nice to get her in some I was taking for this post!

The necklace was from a couple of years ago. I was in New York and Henri Bendel was having a trunk show. I picked it out but had them switch out the chain for a slightly longer one. It is a coated pinecone and supposedly, the tree it came from produces the smallest pinecones in the world!
