Happy Friday! I love this blush blazer because it makes a nice change from the typical black. The zips also add a nice extra touch. I paired this blazer with a leather skirt, a white open back top, and some black and white polka dot pumps that really POP! For the accessorizes I wanted to keep them soft and simple and a blush envelope clutch, a chunky pearl necklace and pretty gold bangles achieved just that. I also added these cool stud earrings last minute. I am really enjoying this blush colour and think this skirt and this top would be great pieces to add to any wardrobe wanting to incorporate more blush tones.

Have a great weekend and Valentine’s Day!
Lots of Love,
Thank you Jill for taking these pictures!!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and here are a few Valentine’s Day Picks I found that would make great gifts (or to treat yourself) for all different budgets. I love the smell of roses and Jo Malone makes nice luxurious body crèmes that feel great on the skin. Diptyque candles have great throw and will leave the entire room smelling like fragrant and this Roses one is no exception! Who wouldn’t love a great pair of red pumps with red soles to match! They would be great for a date night. This pouch would be great for makeup or to keep bits n’ bobs in your purse, especially this purse, and the quote is cute! I have these earrings in the clear crystal and love wearing them day and night. They have a lot of colours to choose from as well. Wouldn’t this tray would be a great place to put your jewelry when taking it off for bed. They make ones with all the different letters in the alphabet so it is a bit more personal. Lastly, scarfs always add a nice finishing touch to an outfit and this one comes in a pretty light pink color – great for Valentine’s Day and as we move into Spring.
What Valentine’s Day gifts do you have in mind?
Lots of Love,
I have been online window shopping again…Here are just a few things I stumbled across as I was looking at the Boxing Day sales online. I love Diptyque Candles! I think this Eucalyptus one would be a nice one since I find Eucalyptus to be really calming. I love this dress! The colour and the back! I think these shoes are super edgy and would really spice up an outfit. I read in Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty (a Christmas present from a friend) that he once said he “wants people to be afraid of the women [he] dresses” and that “there is a certain hardness to the clothes that makes [women] look powerful.” I definitely think this is true about these shoes. They are also on sale! I have this fragrance in the solid form and was just eyeing up the bottle to see what I think. The ’34’ solid is one of my favourites (post here).
This (newish) Laura Mercier is one that I have had my eye on lately and also been reading about. I can’t wait to try it. I think these trays would look great on a side table in a living room. Their website has a bunch of pictures of how people have styled them. This card case would be great for not only credit cards and bills but also business cards. It is very classic and would not go out of style. I love this purse and think the size and style is great! So simple but with a little something extra with the chain and closure.
Have you guys found any great Boxing day sales?
Lots of Love,
Happy Hump Day Everyone,
As most girls do, I have a wish list going of all crazy outfits, shoes and bags I want! Here are some products that I currently have my eye on. The loafers look so comfy and will also go with anything (as my sister would say because she wears similar ones all the time!) This black clutch is such a staple item, everyone needs one in their wardrobe (I like this one because it is affordable and simple). This equipment top will add a pop to any plain bottom (skirt or trousers) while this dress is the same as one I currently have but just in a different colour (you can never have to much of a good thing right?!). These earrings are so cute and would look great in a second hole (which I am thinking of doing, with my sister). I love that you can mix and match them! I love this long dress, it is so simple and elegant. Finally, you can’t go wrong with a nude pair of pumps. I am loving this SJP pair but also these and these.
What are some of your wish list items?
Lots of love,
For the past few years (since I can remember to be honest), I have always stored my shoes in the boxes that they come in. Although this keeps the shoes in good condition, it does take up a lot of room which isn’t ideal if you don’t have a huge amount of storage space (like me, wouldn’t we all love a walk in wardrobe?!).
Recently I decided that it would be easier for me to display them so that I can see all of them at once. This means that no shoe gets forgotten (can help if you are trying not to spend and save money!). I did some research and I think the best and most affordable solution is a Billy Bookcase from Ikea!
The bookcase was $79.99, not a bad price if you ask me! There is a white one which is cheaper, but the darker wood accents the master bedroom for me. I did screw mine to the wall to make it even more sturdy, and I also added glass doors for even more convenient storage, what do you guys think?
For those of you worrying about assembly, I put this all together myself (my husband thought it was crazy I wanted shoes in a bookcase), and managed just fine!
Lots of Love,
I am really loving shoes that add a POP to an outfit! In the past 6 months I have bought 2 pairs that really brighten up an outfit. The first are these J Crew Collection ones. The mint green colour is so pretty and really makes you look twice.
The second pair are these BRIGHT blue Alice & Olivia ones.
I love this blue.
While window-shopping online the other day I found another pair of bright shoes I am liking….
These Yellow pumps are from Bergdorf Goodman and would be great for the summer!
Lots of Love,
