You can never go wrong with a Camel Coat and it should be a classic pieces in your wardrobe. Let me show you how I styled mine.
But first – I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend! I spent it with my husband, in-laws and grandparent in-laws (is that a thing – i’m not sure of the proper name) so it was very relaxing. We had a big family lunch at Clarke’s Standard which is a new restaurant in downtown Athens (post coming soon) and then a home cooked lunch on Sunday! All very delicious.
I wanted to share with you a dress I picked up for a steal when I was in London. It was £12.99! We were up in London, on our way to dinner one evening and browsing some of the shops, when I found it. I paired the dress with a classic camel coat that has a fun pop of red to it, my OTK black boots and a toiletry bag that I use as a clutch.
Since I bought the coat in one size up I can also fit a blazer underneath. Therefore, I wore my tuxedo blazer that I got for a bargain here! I like that the blazer gives me the option to cover my shoulders even after taking my coat off. Especially, because this dress just has thin spaghetti straps.
I saw this All Saints skirt while I was doing some Christmas shopping a few days before Christmas. However, I decided to wait thinking it may go on sale after Christmas. I lucked out! I ordered it online in January at 20% off. It is a great black denim skirt that wraps around making it a little bit different. I paired it with my new favourite shirt which was a gift from my mum and it is the softest most comfortable shirt I have. They make it in a dress but I know the shirt borderlines on looking like pyjamas so I thought the dress crossed that line.
My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots are my most worn, favourite boots year after year and so it should be no surprise I paired this skirt and top with them. I just think they go with everything and make such a statement in a simplistic way.

Being from England and living in America (especially the South) has its obstacles; you can’t get good Pimms, you can’t have a classic rainy, cold ‘summer’ BBQ and you certainly can’t go for a stroll on the Heath! However, now you can have some good ‘ole pub food and The Royal Peasant fits the bill!
This small British Pub tucked away in the heart of Five Points is where you will find everything from half pints to crisps to bangers and mash….as well as some fish and chips! What more could a Brit ask for?!
The other afternoon my husband and I headed over there for a late lunch on my day off. We both had the Burger and a salad to share. I also recommend the house crisps, chicken curry and fish and chips (basically you can’t go wrong here!) While you are at it don’t forget to order a pint (of cider)…or half!
This is Corey’s mad face when I tell him I have to take a picture before starting!
I wore a dress I picked up a couple of weeks ago from Equipment. I love their stuff – it is so simple and comfortable, this dress especially because you can easily dress it up with these pumps (I wore this out for my husbands birthday back in May) or keep it casual for a pub lunch!
P.S. My 100th post is fast approaching, and to celebrate there is going to be a surprise, prize giveaway! Keep your eyes peeled for clues and information on my Instagram @LotsofLoveBuffy and this space!!
Happy Friday! I love this blush blazer because it makes a nice change from the typical black. The zips also add a nice extra touch. I paired this blazer with a leather skirt, a white open back top, and some black and white polka dot pumps that really POP! For the accessorizes I wanted to keep them soft and simple and a blush envelope clutch, a chunky pearl necklace and pretty gold bangles achieved just that. I also added these cool stud earrings last minute. I am really enjoying this blush colour and think this skirt and this top would be great pieces to add to any wardrobe wanting to incorporate more blush tones.
In the Summer I love to wear playsuits. They are so easy (and comfortable) to just throw on and can also be dressed up or down. Zara made my two favourite ones from this summer HERE and HERE. In the autumn and winter when it is colder I still like the concept so just look for jumpsuits. I got this black Theory jumpsuit for a steal on Ebay and love it! It is great to wear out for a date night with my husband or out for drinks with girlfriends.
So as it’s my husband’s and his friends birthday coming up, some friends and I have planned a trip. We are just going to Cherokee for the night and since it is only 3 hours away, I figured I would share what I am going to wear with you guys! It’s only one night, so all I need is a day and a night look – here is what I picked. Let me know what you think!
