You can never go wrong with a Camel Coat and it should be a classic pieces in your wardrobe. Let me show you how I styled mine.
But first – I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend! I spent it with my husband, in-laws and grandparent in-laws (is that a thing – i’m not sure of the proper name) so it was very relaxing. We had a big family lunch at Clarke’s Standard which is a new restaurant in downtown Athens (post coming soon) and then a home cooked lunch on Sunday! All very delicious.
I wanted to share with you a dress I picked up for a steal when I was in London. It was £12.99! We were up in London, on our way to dinner one evening and browsing some of the shops, when I found it. I paired the dress with a classic camel coat that has a fun pop of red to it, my OTK black boots and a toiletry bag that I use as a clutch.
Since I bought the coat in one size up I can also fit a blazer underneath. Therefore, I wore my tuxedo blazer that I got for a bargain here! I like that the blazer gives me the option to cover my shoulders even after taking my coat off. Especially, because this dress just has thin spaghetti straps.
I saw this All Saints skirt while I was doing some Christmas shopping a few days before Christmas. However, I decided to wait thinking it may go on sale after Christmas. I lucked out! I ordered it online in January at 20% off. It is a great black denim skirt that wraps around making it a little bit different. I paired it with my new favourite shirt which was a gift from my mum and it is the softest most comfortable shirt I have. They make it in a dress but I know the shirt borderlines on looking like pyjamas so I thought the dress crossed that line.
My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots are my most worn, favourite boots year after year and so it should be no surprise I paired this skirt and top with them. I just think they go with everything and make such a statement in a simplistic way.

Happy New Year (I’m still writing 2015 on everything and having to change that 5 to a 6, who else is still doing that?)!! I hope you all had a nice relaxing Christmas. I enjoyed mine with my husband, dogs and our families. It was so nice to have my family over from England and we also got the good news that my in-laws will be moving closer to us!
It has just recently become cold in Athens (Christmas Day it was 75 degrees!!) and so this is the perfect sweater, plus – who doesn’t love a comfy sweater paired with some boots! These OTK boots are made of a stretchy material so they mould to your leg and they feel like you are not wearing heels! I paired them with some of my favourite ripped jeans and a super soft sweater. It also just went on sale, what more could you ask for?!
I got these earrings for Christmas and I am so excited to wear them, I haven’t really taken them off. They are great for everyday and have a nice weight to them. This bag is classic and can be dressed up or down, plus it actually holds quite a bit. As you can tell from previous posts I usually opt. for gold accessories and hardware. When I saw these sunglasses though I fell in love and they match the silver hardware on this bag which is another bonus and a nice change!
How did everybody bring in their New Year? Have you guys set any New Years resolutions?
