An oldie but a goodie for me – my Joules quilted jacket!
I got this jacket a few years ago (I believe as a Christmas gift) and still reach for it constantly when it is cold out. It is such a classic style that is great for casual everyday where. Also, mine has worn really well over the years that I have had it. I grabbed for it when I was taking Boss out for a quick walk the other day.
I guess since I was on the British theme with my outfit it makes sense I paired my jacket with my green Hunter wellies and my Radley umbrella (another Christmas gift)! Back when I was little and living in England we would go to the New Forest a lot. I would always wear wellies so that I could walk through the streams, mud and puddles! It was always great fun! Another great jacket by a British brand and one of my other favourites is this one! It has great hand warmer pockets!
This is one of my favourite streets in Athens! I love the wonky cobbled pavements as well as the redish brick. All the houses on this street are beautiful – they have so much character and I enjoy looking at them as I drive/walk past! Years ago, when Boss was a puppy, I would walk him down this road. As soon as we got near the main road, at the end, he would stop dead in his tracks and just sit down! He would not move. I then had to scoop him up and carry him home!
I hope you all have a nice weekend!
Lots of love,
Thank you to Laura Turner for taking the pictures!
Happy Monday Everybody! This is a continuation of my previous post. In that one you saw the makeup I wore to a wine dinner, well here is the outfit! It got this green playsuit (that looks like a dress from the front) a couple of months ago and have been really excited about wearing it. I thought the wine dinner was the perfect occasion.
I think this playsuit is great because it can easily be dressed up or down and can be worn year round. Here I just paired it with tights to help stay warm and heeled booties just to dress it up a bit. In the summer, minus the tights and add some sandals!
Here it is!
I will say I had to snap pictures the next day because when we left we were running late (not my fault) and it was too dark. The next day it was SO cold, I had a hard time keeping my jacket open and scarf not bundled around me. On top of that it was really windy! Yet, I still had a great time and thank you to my good friend Virginia for taking them for me!
