It has been a WHILE since my last post. The past 7 months have been filled with much change, heart break and growth. I will not go into details right now but while they have been some of the hardest they have also been some of the most rewarding. I know that I have some of the best friends and family in the world and I am lucky enough to have them all over the world!
Traveling has become a bigger part of my life and I need to see everything I can because it is a big world out there! A favourite quotes of mine is “If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet”. I have lots of posts still to write from the last 6 months. I have been able to see a couple of new places. Hands down my favourite was Iceland. The Northern Lights have been on the top of my bucket list for YEARS. I can definitely say it was one of my best experiences! I booked to go back less than 24 hours after getting home!
One of the other biggest changes for me has been exercise and weight lifting. I have incorporated it into my daily life and the rewards have been huge. Not only weight loss (I reached my goal) but also the feeling of being strong both in mind and body!
So while there are days that I feel like this:
I know that I have a lot to look forward to. Here are a few pictures from my Chicago trip which was “such fun” (anyone watch Miranda). Stay tuned for more!

Lots of Love,
I had the chance to meet up with Virginia, a good friend of mine for Lunch today. Pauley’s in downtown Athens was our destination of choice since she had never been. When we sat down we started having a good chinwag and so it took us forever to order but when we did we, of course, over ordered.
We started with the Pesto Tartine (these are also good if you add chicken) however, I will say that the Chicken Tchoupitoulas are my favorite! You must try those if you go.
For mains my friend had a Ceasar salad and I had the roast beef crepe. With this we both shared the smashed potatoes (so good and such a good idea!) and the pesto pasta salad (I’m a huge fan of pesto if you cannot already tell – my husband says I could live off the stuff).
There was definitely no room for dessert but the smores crepe is amazing if you save room. I am also partial to the peanut butter crepe.
After our bellies were full we had a little wander around downtown where we found this guy!
After a few snaps we headed home with the promise of not waiting so long to see each other next time.

For those of you in Atlanta…keep an eye out because Pauley’s Atlanta opens soon! I cannot wait.
Lots of Love,
P.S. These boots are sooo comfortable and versatile. I love that you can dress them up or down and that they are a bit different…definitely a great piece and one that I have worn a lot. They come in a bunch of different colours in the suede and then also in a smooth black leather.
I met some friends for dinner the other night and since I was rushing from work I had to change into something quick and easy. I love this Joie dress (Bloomingdales have some on sale right now). The colour is gorgeous and on top of that it is so comfortable. I threw it on with black DVF wedges (great find at Nordstrom – they were hugely discounted) and a black Zara blazer. I’m looking forward to trading in my wedges for boots when it starts to cool down! Lastly, I grabbed my small Tory Burch bag before I ran out the door. This bag is great because it can be used as a clutch or a long shoulder bag – there is a long gold chain strap that can be hidden in the bag when used as a clutch. The leather is also buttery soft!
