While I was back in England a few months ago I spent some time in Oxford….Since it is Flashback Friday I thought I would share. When we arrived we headed straight to a lunch spot my sister recommended: Turf Tavern.

It is a small pub that you have to go down a small alley way to get to. The other buildings seem to be just built around it. It has so much character!
Lots of well known people have been through the doors!

After a very filling lunch we headed to a covered market area where we yet again had more food…
These were amazing! While munching on cookies we explored more of the small shops.
One of the last places we visited was a Harry Potter shop.
Have you been to Turf Tavern? What are some places you guys recommend when visiting Oxford? My sister now lives there so I know I will be back the next time I am across the pond.
