Missing all the Walking in England….

P1040398

One of the things I miss about living in England is the walking. There is a lot more land that is open to the public (many times via the National Trust) where you are just free to visit whether it be for walking, riding or even picnics. Since I have been back in England I have been walking Leo, my sister’s dog, daily. We switch it up, either going back behind the house or over to Headley Heath. Yesterday we walked behind the house (there is a trail) in the pouring rain. Leo loved it! He was rolling in the mud and walking through puddles while I was trying to avoid the mud and puddles. Here are 2 pictures from yesterday. We were both drenched by the time we got home.

The rest of the pictures are from walking on Headley Heath. Enjoy!

Cows roam all over Headley Heath and according to my sister sometimes they can be a bit mean. Below is us taking a detour through a thorn bush to get to another path and avoid them!

Wrong direction Leo!

I am off to France next week for a few days. I am heading to Normandy and the Loire Valley so if you have any recommendations for places to visit in the area please let me know.

Hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for reading!

Lots of love,
