So as my first post on Buffy’s blog as her ‘ghost blogger’ I thought I would jump right in with a little something about makeup! Before that though, you should realize that there are some BIG differences between us (I mean obviously I got the looks, the brains, the talent etc etc) but Buffy has the true talent and eye for style, fashion and makeup. So my point (and I do have one) is that this post is directed at those who wear makeup on occasion, so want something a little lighter on the skin, and easier on the bank account! Right, here we go!! My favorite makeup that I have ever used, and now the only one I use, is Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore. My favorite products are the ones shown below.

Foundation, Lip gloss – Lovely Lotus, BB Cream, Eye Shadow – Foxy Browns (Above), Blush & Bronzer – Beachy Keen (Below) and Powder Foundation.

The Foundation ($13.98) is super light on the skin and allows your face to breathe, because nothing in worse than they feeling of clogged pores! A little bit goes a long way coverage wise, and its best used to just even the skin tone.

The BB Cream ($12.98) is slightly thicker, with a stronger color (more of a cover up). Again, only a small amount is needed for the whole face (massage lightly with fingers). This is also a lifesaver to eliminate the dreaded ‘shiny face syndrome’!! This, the powder foundation ($9.98), is brilliant for a quick cover in the morning before rushing to lectures (life of a Uni student!). With vitamins C & E to reduce aging it feels great and light weight on the skin all day (even after a touch up). The blush and bronze duo ($9.98) is a must have! A quick swipe of each can transform a quiet day look, into a more intense evening look. As usual with Flower Beauty products, its fantastically light, yet stays put! This eye shadow palette ($9.98) (one of my many) is the one I use all the time. The pink and grey are colors that are gentle enough to use in the day, with the bronze and brown just enough to darken the look for a night out!! A Ginko Biloba extract makes it soft and supple on the eye preventing a horrible build up in the creases of your eyelids.

Now for the real showstopper! This mascara ($7.98) is a genius invention. With its three different brush adjustments you really can transform a look completely; from a classic, simple look, to a hugely transformed, volumised look!

With D-panthenol to smooth lashes and stimulate growth, your lashes do honestly feel stronger, and rice wax for smudge-proof color, you can’t go wrong! A twist of the top, transforms the brush! To finish off a simply necessary lip gloss ($6.98); this adds that needed pop of color to complete a look! Its soft feel doesn’t dry your lips out, and the color lasts (meaning no need to constantly reapply!).

This brand is affordable; all advertising is done by Drew herself, meaning copious amounts of money aren’t spent on campaigns. Probably one of my favorite things about Flower Beauty is that there is NO animal testing whatsoever. Its easy to get a hold of, most drug stores carry it, Walmart in particular. I love it so much Buffy has to send it all the way to the UK!!
